Ahh....CHEPALA PULUSU......this name brings to my mind the memories of my child hood when ever my mom used to clean the fish,cook it n how we use to enjoy the food.Its a very special n a famous recipe in andhra.N u know the curry tastes even more better for the next day than on the day its cooked.so,i hope u try this n u'l like this curry n pls do comment .
INGREDIENTS:-
Fish pieces-5/6
onions-1
tomato-1/2
green chillies -6-7
ginger -1/2 inch
garlic-2-3 cloves
dhaniya/coriander seeds-1 tsp
jeera/cumin seeds-11/2 tsp
poppy seeds /gasa gaslu- 1tsp
coriander-1 whole
chilly pwd-3 tsp
turmeric pwd- 1/2 tsp
salt- as per taste
tamarind extract- 2 cup or more(till we feel sour)
oil
PROCESS:-
1.Clean the fish pieces n marinate it with salt(1 tsp) ,turmeric pwd(1/4 tsp),chilly pwd(1 tsp) n keep it aside 2.Cut onions n tomatoes into pices.
4. In a mixer take dhaniya,jeera,ginger,garlic n poopy seeds n make a paste out of it using little water n keep aside.
5. Now add toamtoes n fry for 1 min.
6.Now add the 1 tsp masala paste wat we did n a 1/2 tsp of turmeric pwd n fry for 1 min.
