INGREDIENTS:-
Toor dal /kandi pappu-1 cup
spring onions-1 (chopped finely)
tomatoes-1
green chillies- 2
turmeric pwd- 1/2 tsp
chilly pwd- 1 tsp
salt- to taste
fresh/frozen grated coconut-3 or 4 tsp
tamarind- small lemon size
oil
FOR SEASONING:-
mustard seeds
urad dal/mina pappu
chana dal/pacchi senaga pappu
curry leaves
garlic cloves
dried red chillies
hing/inguva
PROCESS:-
1.Cut spring onions,green chillies n tomatoes n keep aside. 2.Clean n cook the toordal in a pressure cooker till 4 whistles n mash it n keep aside .
3.Meanwhile,heat a pan n add oil n fry spring onions for 5 mins.
